Spalendar - a 'fast-forward' visualization of you and your colleagues' calendar events

Spalendar == Spatial Calendar

Spalendar presents a new way of visualizing a groupís calendar events by showing people moving between their scheduled meetings and appoitments located in their shared work space such as their lab, office, cammpus.

Situated in the public environment, Spalendar reacts to how people approach it, by altering the information density as a function of the distance between the viewer and the display.

By showing people attending events across space, Spalendar encourages casual interaction such as discovering a group activity by seeing how people gather (please also see accompanying paper, poster or video).
